Vicor’s 28-Vdc MIL-COTS VIPAC family of power systems is a class of user-defined, modular power solutions for military COTS applications. It incorporates Vicor’s M-FIAM5B, which provides MIL-STD-461E EMI filtering and MIL-STD-704E/F transient protection, Vicor's Maxi, Mini and Micro dc-dc H- or M-grade converters, and a choice of output connections and mechanical platforms.
The Military COTS VIPAC can be specified with 1, 2 or 3 outputs with voltages as low as 3.3 Vdc to as high as 48 Vdc, and power levels from 50 W to 400 W per output. The Military COTS VIPAC is available with a 28-Vdc input. Package profiles start from 0.75 in. (19.1 mm).
The 28-Vdc MIL-COTS VIPAC power systems are priced at $392 in 100-piece quantities. Pricing for customized units can be obtained by using Vicor's online VCAD design tool.
