SynQor, Inc. has announced triple output versions of its ACuQor medical grade AC/DC power supply series that provide continuous output power ratings of up to 500W, with 700W transient capability. The units are believed to be the only standard supplies available that are compliant with Type BF and CF Applied Parts approval as detailed in IEC 60601-1 for equipment used in patient contact applications without any external filtering or additional isolation transformers. Moreover, units are optionally available with a Type CFD Defibrillator Proof output with 5000V isolation, making them the ideal choice for Cardiac Care equipment.

ACuQor units measure just 3.6" x 5.25" x 1.63" x 5 x 1U, making them the highest power density medical PSUs available. Primary output options are 12/24/36/48V semi-regulated outputs and include regulated 5V (10W) and 12V (50W) 'always on' standby outputs. ACuQor PSUs feature a universal (85-264Vrms) input range, active power factor correction and very high efficiency - up to 90% for the 48Vout model at 500W. ACuQor supplies meet EN-61000-3-2 for PFC and EN60601-1 Low Leakage Current, along with EN55011/EN55022 Class B compliance for radiated & conducted emissions out of the box. In addition, the devices provide: Over-current, Over-voltage, and Over-temperature protection; DC Power Good; AC Power Good signals; and Remote enable and Fan status/enable functionality.

The triple output ACuQor is offered in lower power 300W and 400W versions. Industrial grade products are also available for those applications where size, weight, efficiency and reliability are essential. Any combination of up to three units ACuQOr units can be factory-mounted into a chassis to provide up to 1500W continuous output power. Through the use of SynQor's "QorCool" thermal conduction techniques, full output power is available when attached to a cold plate maintained at 50degC. Supplies feature a transient power rating of 700W for up to 15 seconds.

Sample and production quantities are available immediately with a stock to 12 weeks lead-time. Units are priced at $600 in 500 piece quantities.
