Orbit International has received two orders for its custom division valued at approximately $1.2 million. The company's power group, Behlman Electronics, received an order for approximately $850,000 for a COTS power supply used by the U.S. Navy to support its anti-submarine and anti-ship surveillance and targeting system. The company also received an order for approximately $350,000 for a COTS power supply used in a satellite communications system.
Dennis Sunshine, president and CEO of Orbit International, commented, "Behlman continues to be a leader for standard, custom and COTS power solutions, fulfilling customers program requirements for a number of diversified applications. Belhman's ability to modify its standard products to meet specific customer requirements has created significant business opportunities for both new and repeat orders with the potential of follow-on awards that could extend over several years."
