Mouser Electronics has expanded its global distribution agreement with Fujitsu Components America to include the FDK line of dc-dc converters. This agreement makes Mouser the sole North American distributor for the FDK products. FDK’s standard dc-dc converters include the Senpai and Sensei series, featuring full-rated output current with little or no de-rating at high ambient temperature.
The Senpai POL series delivers up to 10 A in a small footprint. These nonisolated dc-dc converters feature a 5.0-Vdc input and a 3.3-Vdc output and an ambient temperature of 85˚C with natural convection cooling. The Sensei series of isolated brick dc-dc converters provide up to 180 W of output power with minimal de-rating at elevated temperatures and no required heatsinks. With a 48-Vdc input, the converters provide 15 A and 14 A of output current in ambient temperatures up to 60˚C with 400 LFM airflow.
