LeCroy’s two M-Type 1-GHz oscilloscopes both come standard with a full set of analysis tools, including WaveScan, an advanced search-and-analysis feature, WaveStream, a fast viewing mode, and LabNotebook, a unique tool for documentation and report generation. Available in the WaveRunner and WaveSurfer product series, the M-Type oscilloscopes provide a large display, a small footprint, and a 5-giga-samples-per-second (5-GSps) sampling rate to 1-GHz oscilloscopes.
The LeCroy WaveRunner MXi has a maximum sample rate of 10 GSps, a standard 12.5 million points per channel (Mpts/Ch) of memory, and can accommodate a variety of analysis tools and application programs, such as tracks, histograms, and long-memory FFTs. The WaveSurfer MXs offers 5 GSps on each channel with 10 Mpts/Ch of memory, and emphasizes strong fundamentals for lab and bench oscilloscope use. It also provides advanced triggering for finding rare events and glitches. The WaveSurfer MXs oscilloscope is $11,990; The WaveRunner MXi is $14,390.
