Spotlight on Digital Power
Emerson will participate in The Green Grid, a non-profit consortium dedicated to advancing energy efficiency in data centers, through its Emerson Network Power business. Emerson Network Power will work closely with The Green Grid's members to develop operating standards, measurement methods, processes and technologies to improve data-center efficiency.
"We welcome Emerson as a new Contributing member of The Green Grid," said Mark Monroe, a director of The Green Grid. "Emerson's vast experience in data center technology will no doubt be leveraged within the activities of the consortium."
