Astrodyne’s ECA series of ultra-miniature encapsulated switching power supplies provide EMC noise compliance to EN 60601-1-2:2001. All models accept universal input, and 60 models are available that provide output power from 5 W to 15 W, with single and dual outputs from 5 Vdc to 24 Vdc.
The series will operate over the ambient temperature range of 0°C to 50°C without forced cooling or output power derating. The series is also available in medically approved EMA versions to UL/EN60601-1 safety levels. Dimensions for the 5-W version are 2.28 in. x 1.77 in. x 0.83 in., and all models are designed for pin-mount pc board plug-in or screw-terminal chassis mounting. Prices start at $29.
