50-W And 100-W Adapters Boast High Efficiency

Jan 30, 2008 12:37 PM

Compliant with the One-Watt Input Energy Star/Blue Angel requirement, two series of external ac-dc power adapters from Emerson Network Power offer high efficiency, fully regulated output, and universal input. The 50-W AD50 adapters produce up to 4.16 A cont. of 12-V output, while the 100-W AD100 models produce up to 2.08 A cont. of 48-V output. The AD50 offers a typical power conversion efficiency of 80%, while the AD100 provides 90% efficiency.

These adapters provide a flexible, pre-approved power solution for a wide variety of portable and desktop applications. The AD50 adapters are also available with medical safety approvals for non-patient contact and non-patient critical use. Unit pricing starts at $28.00 for the AD50 models, $32.00 for the AD50 medical models, and $56.00 for the AD100 models, in OEM quantities.
