650 Watt Front Ends for Datacom and Networking

Martek Power announces the release of the 12 VDC output version of the AHF series of 650 Watts AC Front End power supplies. The AHF series is a standard product line of high density 12 VDC or 48 VDC output AC Front Ends with Active Power Factor Correction and 3.3 VDC auxiliary standby power.

Measuring 3.07" X 1.57" X 12.38", the units deliver up to 53.3 A across the full AC input range of 90?264 VAC. With a compact 1U X 2U format, up to five power supply modules can be mounted in a standard 19" rack in a 1U high profile. Advanced design approach has maximized the power densities of the new AHF models to over 0watt/in3, boosting efficiencies over 92% while maintaining a very competitive price. Pricing of the 12Vout models starts from below $200 for >1000 pieces OEM quantity.

Designed for Datacom and Network applications, the AHF models come standard with N+1 redundancy, which is ensured by hot plug and active current sharing scheme, and I²C management bus logic for system integration and communication features. Protection features include input over voltage, output over voltage, over temperature and over current protections.
