In an effort to accommodate increasing market demand for high-performance EMI ferrites that will also fit inside smaller electronic packages, Leader Tech announces the availability of a low-profile, flat cable FerriShield Ferrite. Engineered for SCSI2 and thin flex circuits, this solid ferrite style provides up to 245 ohms of impedance at 100 MHz and can be specified in one of six sizes to accommodate cable widths ranging from 0.50" to 2.00".
With a profile of just .030" and a high-tack, foam adhesive base, the FerriShield SM28R1127-2 can be mounted to almost any surface and even permits a stacking configuration if desired. Additionally, the foam base acts as a shock absorber for applications that experience low to moderate vibration.
