MOSFETs Shrink Footprint With SC-70 Package

Vishay Intertechnology has introduced 15 power MOSFETS in the 2-mm x 2-mm PowerPAK SC-70 package. The devices offer on-resistance down to 11 mÙ, which previously required the larger TSOP-6 package.

Device type: n-channel and p-channel MOSFETs in various configurations and voltage ratings (see the table)
Breakdown voltage (VBRDS): 8 V to 30 V
On-resistance (RDSON): down to 0.011 Ù at 4.5 V
Current Rating (ID max): 2.6 A to 12 A
Features: configurationsinclude single, single plus Schottky, and dual
devices, in both n-channel and p-channel, in addition to n- and p-channel
complementary pairs;
Operating temperature range (TJ): -55°C to 150°C
Packaging: SC-70
RoHS compliant? Yes.
Target Applications: load switching and battery charging in portable devices such as cell phones, PDAs, digital cameras, MP3 players, notebook computers, portable HDDs, and miniature motor drives.
Pricing: $0.15 each in 100,000-piece quantities
