Central Semiconductor has developed small Schottky bridge rectifiers, packaged in the HD DIP surface mount case. The CBRHDSH1-40L (1-A) and CBRHDSH2-40 (2-A) devices are 40-V, low-VF bridge rectifiers with a typical VF of 0.39 V at 1.0 A and 0.45 V at 2.0 A, respectively.
Compared to the larger SMDIP surface mount package, the HD DIP case is 57% smaller, and utilizes 60% less board space. In addition, 60-V and 100-V versions of both 1-A and 2-A devices are currently in development. The CBRHDSH1-40L and CBRHDSH2-40 are available Prices for the CBRHDSH1-40L and CBRHDSH2-40 start at $0.42 each and $0.46 each, respectively, for 3000 pieces. Samples are available upon request.
