ON Semiconductor has announced a distribution and support agreement with Compel, Russia's largest electronics component distributor. The new agreement is in line with ON Semiconductor's strategy to address growing demand for the company's products in Russia. Under the terms of the agreement, Compel will provide customers with access to a broad range of ON Semiconductor technologies including power, analogue, DSP, mixed-signal, advance logic, clock management, non-volatile memory and standard component devices. Compel will also provide support for ON Semiconductor products via its comprehensive network of technical representatives.
"Russia is an increasingly important market for ON Semiconductor and we are seeing a growing demand from OEMs and CEMs in the region," said Jeff Thomson, ON Semiconductor's vice president for Global Channel Sales. "As Russia's largest electronics components distributor, Compel will help us satisfy this demand while providing high levels of technical support at a local level."
Compel's president, Boris Rudyak, added: "With more than fifteen years experience meeting the needs of Russian customers, Compel is one of the country's leading electronics component distributors. The ON Semiconductor portfolio fits perfectly with our existing technology offering and further expands the solutions we can deliver to Russian OEMs and CEMs."Acceptable Use Policy blog comments powered by Disqus
