Spotlight on Digital Power
International Rectifier, IR® introduced a new range of trench HEXFET® Power MOSFETs featuring a high package current rating for industrial battery, power supply, high power DC motors and power tools.
The new devices provide a package current rating of up to 195A, delivering a 60 percent improvement over typical package current ratings. These MOSFETs also provide improved on-state resistance (RDS(on)) compared to previous offerings and are available in the popular TO-220, D2PAK and TO-262 packages. Moreover, the 7-pin D2PAK achieves a superior package current rating of 240A making it one of the most rugged surface mount packages available. In addition, the 7-pin D2PAK offers further reduction in RDS(on) over the D2PAK.
The N-channel MOSFETs provide a voltage range of 60V to 200V and are qualified to industrial grade and moisture sensitivity level 1 (MSL1). The devices are offered lead free and are RoHS compliant.
