Fairchild Semiconductor's Stealth II and Hyperfast II diode technologies are designed to combine with and complement an array of Fairchild’s existing UniFET and SuperFET MOSFET technologies. This combined offering presents a comprehensive solution for increasing system efficiency and reliability while lowering EMI in LCD TV power designs.
The FFP08S60S and FFPF08S60S Stealth II diodes exhibit good soft recovery (tB/tA> 1.3) and fast reverse-recovery time (tRR < 25 nS at 600 V breakdown voltage). The FFPF08H60S Hyperfast II diode also features fast reverse-recovery time (tRR < 35 nS at 600 V breakdown voltage) and low forward-voltage drop (VF < 2.1 V), reducing conduction losses to increase energy efficiency in discontinuous-current-mode (DCM) PFC designs. Available now, 1000-piece pricing is $0.54 each for the FFPF08S60S and FFP08S60S, and $0.48 for the FFPF08H60S.
