MOSFETs Target Power Supplies and Electric Motors

May 28, 2008 11:00 PM

A family of 60-V and 75-V n-channel trench MOSFETs from International Rectifier is optimized for industrial battery applications such as E-bikes, scooters and utility carts. These devices, which feature low RDSON are also suited for use in UPSs as well as hard-switched or high-frequency switch-mode power supplies.

Device type: n-channel trench MOSFETs
Breakdown voltage (VBRDS): 60 V or 75 V
Max on-resistance (RDSON): 8.4 mÙ, 9.0 mÙ, or 15.8 mÙ at VGS = 10 V (see table)
Continuous Current Rating (ID): 43 A, 79 A, or 80 A (see table)
Operating temperature range (TJ): -55°C to +175°C
Packaging: TO-220s, D-PAKs and D2 PAKs
RoHS compliant? Yes.
Target Applications: industrial battery applications such as E-bikes, scooters and utility carts; UPSs and switch-mode power supplies
