4500V HVIGBT Family Includes 150A Dual Module

Dec 7, 2009 11:54 AM

Powerex announces the availability of a 4500V/150A Dual High Voltage IGBT (HVIGBT), QID4515001. This extended voltage HVIGBT has been developed for use on 4160 Volt ac lines. QID4515001 has a high isolation voltage of 10.2KV RMS and an optimized thermal management system incorporating an AIN ceramic substrate and copper baseplate. The switching loss performance is estimated to provide a 20% reduction when compared to competitive types in the market.

The dual QID4515001 rated at 4500V/150A feature:
*       Low Drive Voltage
*       Low Vce(sat)
*       Super-Fast Recovery
*       Isolated Baseplate

QID4515001 has been designed for use in utility power supplies, pulse power, traction drives, medium voltage industrial drives, auxiliary power inverters and other high voltage power supplies

This device can be purchased at sample pricing of $615 each.
