Danfoss Silicon Power GmbH received ISO/TS 16949 certification from the Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen. Claus Petersen, President of Danfoss Silicon Power, received the certificate from Jörg Göllner, lead auditor from the VDE Testing and Certification Institute, during a celebration at the home office in Schleswig, Germany.
Danfoss Silicon Power has delivered customer-specified power modules to leading European automakers for many years. Danfoss modules are already in use in the European high-end luxury car segment. Future automotive market growth is expected in both Drive-by-Wire and Hybrid Electric Vehicle applications. “ISO/TS 16949 Certification is an investment in the future and a sign of our commitment to the needs of the automotive industry,” said Claus Petersen.
