Supertex’s HV758 is a fully integrated, high-voltage, high-speed, four-channel ultrasound pulser IC ideal for stationary medical ultrasound imaging systems. The IC integrates controller logic interface circuitry, level translators, MOSFET gate drivers and high-power outputs. The device features built-in output drain bleed resistors for noise reduction, an operating frequency up to 20 MHz, and matched delay times. It employs a direct coupling topology to facilitate easier board layout
The IC's source and sink currents are specified at ±2.2 A in pulsed wave (PW) mode and ±580 mA in continuous wave (CW) mode.
The HV758 is available in a 64-lead FCBGA package. The part is available in both RoHS-compliant and leaded versions (HV758FB-G and HV758FB, respectively). Pricing is $20.96 each for both the HV758FB and the HV758FB-G in 1000-unit quantities.
