Micropower LDOs withstand 80 V

Feb 21, 2007 2:23 PM

Linear Technology’s H grade version of the LT3010/-5 enables operation up to 140°C, compared to the E grade which operates up to 125°C, and features an input voltage range of 3 V to 80 V. Output voltages can be as low as 1.275 V. Quiescent current of 30 µA (operating) and 1µA (in shutdown) make it an excellent choice for battery-powered systems.

The LT3010-5 provides a fixed 5-V output. Output noise for both parts is 100 mVRMS over a 10-Hz to 100-kHz bandwidth, making them ideal for noise-sensitive applications. The LT3010/-5 is able to operate with ceramic output capacitors. It is stable with only a 1 µF output capacitor.

The LT3010/-5 is available from stock in an 8-lead thermally enhanced MSOP package. Pricing starts at $2.05 each for 1000-piece quantities.
