Linear Technology’s LTC3539/-2 are 1-MHz/2-MHz, current-mode, synchronous boost converters with output disconnect and integrated soft-start. Their internal 2-A switches can deliver outputs as high as 5.25 V from an input as low as 0.70 V at start-up, (0.5 V when running).

Features: output disconnect feature (allows the output to be completely discharged in shutdown), inrush current limiting, efficiencies up to 94%, 10-µA quiescent current in burst mode, anti-ringing control, short-circuit protection, soft-start, and thermal protection
