Freescale Semiconductor (www.freescale.com) has named Arman Naghavi vice president and general manager of its Analog, Mixed Signal and Power Division. Naghavi oversees development of the analog and mixed-signal business, with special emphasis on integrated, cost-effective embedded connectivity for automotive, industrial control, and rapidly growing consumer categories. He will be based in Tempe, Ariz.
“Arman brings a demonstrated track record in leading consumer- and industrial-based analog businesses to achieve high growth and profitability,” said Paul Grimme, Freescale Transportation and Standard Products Group senior vice president and general manager. “He will provide great market perspective and leadership to help us meet customers’ needs in the analog market.”
Most recently Naghavi built the handheld and display products business at Intersil, overseeing design, product and test, applications and marketing engineering. He previously worked 19 years at Analog Devices, where his career spanned worldwide business development and product marketing.
