Seminar Will Examine Digital Power Conversion

Jan 16, 2008 4:43 PM

The European Center For Power Electronics (ECPE) will present a seminar on digital power conversion, February 20-21 at the Maritim Hotel in Munich, Germany. Professor Jose A. Cobos of the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid will chair the seminar together with Dr. Ulrich Kirchenberger of STMicroelectronics and Thomas Harder of the ECPE. All presentations and discussions will be in English.

On the first day of the seminar, sessions will cover “Trends in Digital Power,“ “Basics of Digital Control,” and “Digital Control Techniques for ICs.” Topics to be covered on the second day include, “Application of Digital Power in Power Converters ” (two sessions) and “Power Management and Buses.” For more details, see the program posted at the ECPE website.
