SLA Batteries Offer Many Voltages and Capacities

Jan 18, 2006 1:09 PM

GC Electronics, a manufacturer of electronic and industrial products, has added an extensive line of batteries to its long list of product families. The new GC family of sealed lead-acid (SLA) batteries comprises more than 75 models, with input voltages of 4 V, 6 V, 12 V and 24 V in capacities ranging from 1.2 Ah to 230 Ah. This family is suitable for use in numerous applications, including UPS systems.

Available in six different terminal types, the batteries are offered with flame-retardant cases as well as high-power options on select models that provide 15% more capacity than their standard counterparts. The deep-cycle GC family of sealed lead-acid batteries is UL and CE approved. They are valve-regulated and non-spillable, and also provide maintenance-free operation and deep discharge recovery.

All GC sealed lead-acid batteries are available now, at prices ranging from $2.99 to $300. More information and data sheets are available from GC Electronics.
