Contributed Design Features:
Approximately, 2000 words in length, these in-depth articles address a variety of practical design issues in the field of power electronics. If you have an article proposal, please submit an abstract or outline to the editor. If you’re targeting a specific design feature in a particular issue, please submit your proposal at least 3 months in advance of the issue date.
Special Features
These include Spotlights on Magnetic Components (February), Medical-Grade Power Supplies (April), and Test and Measurement Equipment (June) and are round up articles reporting on recent product introductions in the spotlighted area. If you have any applicable product announcements, please send them to the editor.
The Website Exclusives are special sections that will appear online. These will include contributed design features on the selected topics. If you have article proposals for these special sections, please submit them to the editor.
The Special Section on Power Over Ethernet will explore critical issues in the design of power sourcing equipment (PSE) and power devices (PDs) in Power Over Ethernet applications.
The Special Section on Lighting Power Management will explore critical issues in the design of control and drive circuitry for fluorescent and LED light sources.
In addition to the special sections on the web, a special section will appear in print in the July issue of Power Electronics Technology, This Supplement on Digital Power will explore critical design issues in digital power management addressing requirements of ac-dc and dc-dc power supply applications.
In the November issue, the Power Semiconductor Packaging Wall Chart will appear as a pull-out poster.
