Omron Electronic Components’ G5T series of low-cost, slim pc-board power relays are rated for 5 A at 250 Vac. The devices deliver a minimum of 30,000 operations at rated load, and nominal power consumption is 200 mW. Standard versions include 5-Vdc, 12-Vdc and 24-Vdc coils, and the impulse-withstand voltage between the coil and contacts is 10 kV.
Sized at 7.0 mm x 20.4 mm x 15.0 mm, the ambient operating temperature range is –40ºC to +70ºC (without icing or condensation) in a relative humidity of 5% to 85%. Pricing for the G5T-1A DC12 relay is $0.55 in 500-piece quantities.
