Spotlight on Digital Power
TT electronics’ BI Technologies Magnetic Components Division has developed a family of surface mount power inductors in four low-profile package types. Designated the HM62 Series, the inductors exhibit high self-resonant frequencies up to Q value. The HM62 Series family includes the HM62-2610 (1.0-mm profile), HM62-3014 (1.4-mm height), HM62-3015C (1.5-mm height ) and HM62-3515 (1.5-mm height).
The inductance range of the series is from 1.0 µH to 220.0 µH. Absolute tolerance is from 20% to 30%, depending on the inductance value. Typical pricing for the HM62 Series is approximately $0.25 to $0.35.
