Fuses Manage Higher Current and Voltage for Ballast Enclosures

From Littelfuse, the 208 and 209 series of fuses expand the company’s offering of 350-V 2AG-size fuses to provide ballast designers with a wider range of current ratings. These fuses provide the same performance characteristics as 3AG size products, yet occupy one third the space.

Device type: quick-acting (208 Series) and slow-blow (209 Series) fuses.
Current ratings: 0.125 A to 10 A
Operating temperature range: -55ºC to +125ºC
Features: interrupting rating of 100 A at 350 Vac; agency approvals include UR, CE and PSE
Packaging: available as a cartridge or with axial leads, with optional sleeves, and in various lead-forming configurations
RoHS compliant? yes
Target applications: electrical ballasts used in fluorescent lighting and other applications
