The TFH85 line of thick film technology from Ohmite is a heat-sinkable resistor. It offers a robust 85-W power rating (at 25°C case temperature) in a compact TO-264 package. Applications include power supply conversion, lighting ballast, and motor drive related products.
Available in two- or three-terminal versions, the “P Package” features a middle terminal that can be utilized to ground the heat sink. The TFH85 combines low thermal resistance with non-inductive performance. Pricing ranges from $6.28 to $6.59 each in 1000-unit quantities.
