The CoreCap NPV Series from AVX is a new series of Niobium Oxide (NbO) – Ceramic Multianode Chip Capacitors. The series offers low ESR, high ripple current absorption, safety and high reliability. The NPV Series meets all RoHS requirements and will operate in any lead-free assembly systems with up to three times reflow with 260°C peak temperature.
The NPV Series of CoreCap capacitors offer ESR values below 3 mW. The capacitance range is 560 µF with a capacitance tolerance of ±20%. This NbO-Ceramic capacitor series has a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C with category voltage. Pricing for the CoreCap NPV Series Chip Capacitors starts at $1.28 in quantities of 10,000 pieces.
