Low-Profile Chip Inductors Meet RoHS

Mar 15, 2006 11:57 AM

From J.W. Miller Magnetics comes two series of low-profile multilayer chip inductors that are RoHS compliant. Manufactured using monolithic construction to assure consistent performance and maximum reliability, the PM1210G and PM1812G series inductors also feature ferrite material construction that minimizes unwanted radiation.  Low profile design results in a product measuring just 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm x 1.3 mm (Series PM1210G) or 4.5 mm x 3.2 mm x 1.5 mm (Series PM1812G).

Depending on the model, inductance values range from 0.10 µH to 33 µH.  Other performance characteristics include high Q and a dc current rating up to 800 mA. Pricing is from $0.078 to $0.095 each in minimum production quantities.
