Xantrex Technology Inc. has received a $3.3 million order for its XPower by Xantrex brand portable power electronics products, with shipment scheduled for the third quarter of 2004.
The order is from a major U.S. national retailer. By value, it is the largest order from this customer since it began offering Xantrex products early in 2003.
“This agreement is further evidence of the growing appeal of our portable power products to consumers,” said Mossadiq Umedaly, Xantrex’s chairman.“It also demonstrates our leadership in the portable power business, which represents approximately a quarter of our revenue so far in 2004.”
