Spotlight on Digital Power
In a move that significantly expands its European sales network, Valere Power recently signed a reseller and joint development agreement with the Powerbox Australia Pty Ltd., Sydney, Australia.
Powerbox will sell Valere’s entire range of dc power systems as standalone systems. Powerbox will also use Valere products in its custom-designed solutions intended to meet the needs of the customers.
“The success of broadband and wireless data networks throughout the Oceania market is fueling demand for more compact and efficient power systems as service providers and businesses transition to next-generation networks and react to new competition,” said Andy Marsh, Valere Power president and CEO. “This is an excellent opportunity for Valere to grow its business in Australia. Partnering with Powerbox brings market expertise, a broad sales network in many industries, expanded capabilities and a great reputation to help us achieve that goal.”
Powerbox has a solid history with industrial, marine/automotive and medical customers, and will expand its vertical market reach to include communications OEMs with the new systems from Valere.
“We will use our strong sales and support presence in Australia to make the Valere Power products available to the Australian market” said Marc S. Rutty president of Powerbox. “Our partnership with Valere will deliver a new program of very competitive dc systems solution that enables us to meet the most advanced demands of our customers at attractive conditions.”
