Phihong USA has added 48V output models to its existing PSAA60W andPSAA60M single output adapter series. The PSAA60W-480 two-wire input adapter and the PSAA60M-480 three-wire input adapter are the latest additions in series that already include 12,15, 18, and 24V output models.

The new 48V adapters better address networking, data communications, and IP applications. However, adapters in both series are ideal for portable
equipment, networking, peripherals, and gaming machines.

"Expanding our 60W universal adapter lines to include higher voltage devices allows us to continue to provide networking and personal electronics OEMs with a wide variety of energy efficient and competitively priced solutions for a range of applications," said Keith Hopwood, vice president of marketing for Phihong USA.

The 48V PSAA60W and PSAA60M adapters both comply with the United States' Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (EISA). They also comply with Class B conducted and radiated electromagnetic emissions. Additionally, the 48V adapters bear cUL/UL, CE, and CB safety markings and approvals. The 12, 15, 18, and 24V models in the series also feature TUV safety markings and approvals.
