MIL-COTS High-Voltage Bus Converter

Dec 10, 2008 5:48 PM

V•I Chip Corporation, a subsidiary of Vicor Corporation announced the availability of a MIL-COTS BCM™ bus converter. This high-efficiency (more than 95 percent), Sine Amplitude Converter (SAC)TM operates from MIL-STD-704E/F 270 Vdc and delivers an isolated 30.0 – 41.3 Vdc. This voltage is suitable as an input to the MIL-COTS PRMTM regulator and VTMTM current multiplier, and is ideal for aircraft distributed power applications.
