SPST Analog Switches

Feb 24, 2003 12:00 PM, Edited by PE Tech Staff

Intersil's MightyMUX™ ISL43120, ISL43121, and ISL43122 ICs are high-performance single-supply dual SPST analog switches in a tiny 8-lead SOT-23 package. The new single-supply ISL43210 IC is configured as a single SPDT analog switch in a tiny 6-lead SOT-23 package. Designed for low-voltage portable applications, these switches provide industry-leading 3-V guaranteed performance.

The ISL43120 features two normally open (NO) switches, and the ISL43121 features two normally closed (NC) switches. The ISL43122 features one NO and one NC switch offering optional SPDT functionality. The ISL43210 is a dedicated SPDT switch, which also doubles as a 2:1 multiplexer.

These new ICs offer the best guaranteed 3-V R(ON) performance at a price less than $0.50 for a dual SPST analog switch. They also feature less than 5 uW power consumption, a maximum of 10 nA leakage current, and a low 5 pC charge injection. All are rated for an industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C and are available on tape and reel (-T suffix).
