Sola/Hevi-Duty Introduces Next-Generation Single-Phase Power Supplies

Sola/Hevi-Duty’s smaller, more cost-effective SDN-P family of single-phase 24Vdc DIN Rail power supplies adds value and performance to its broad range of power supplies. Housed in a rugged, compact casing, SDN power supplies provide reliable dc power for industrial process controls, machine tools or other equipment exposed to a harsh factory floor environment, including Class 1, Div. 2 hazardous locations and DeviceNetTM applications. They are available in 2.5A to 20A to fit most any application, with efficiencies up to 90% typical.

This next generation meets SEMI F47 Sag Immunity standards to guard against electrical disturbances of the mains, and offers built-in Power Factor Correction to reduce power losses. Contained within a space-saving, high-density package, other design innovations include auto select 115/230Vac nominal voltage, 50/60 Hz input, along with a rugged snap-on metal mounting clip, a dc OK signal, and adjustable output voltage.
