Cornell Dubilier recently purchased York Capacitor Corp., Winooski, Vt. York has one of the broadest technical offerings in the ac industry with capacitance ranges up to 200 µF, voltages up to 4000 V and temperature ranges of 105°C for lighting applications.
This is the third acquisition Cornell Dubilier has made in the past two years. “The acquisition of York broadens our ac offering. We are determined to be the best supplier of power conversion capacitors in the world and York will enhance this objective. They have excellent quality, service and technical support as well as an untapped product that we will successfully grow.” says Jim Kaplan, president of Cornell Dubilier.
