Spotlight on Digital Power
A 60-W ac-dc universal input power supply has been introduced by Condor D.C. Power Supplies specifically for medical and industrial device applications. A compact footprint (4 in. × 2 in. × 0.97 in.) and full approval to both the EN60601-1 and EN60950 standards equip the GNT60 for uses such as single-board computers, battery chargers, small motors, pumps and solenoids. The power supply meets all UL, CSA and EN standards.
Three models are available, covering an input range of 100 Vac to 240 Vac (85 Vac to 264 Vac max) and including a Class II input. Overvoltage and short-circuit protection are inherent. Leakage current is less than 200 µA at 264 Vac. Efficiency is 80% typical. Its favorable package improves design-in time and reduces end system compliance costs.
