PoE Company Expands Distribution Program in Canada

PowerDsine, a provider of Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) solutions, has geographically expanded its distribution relationship to Canada with Ingram Micro, which is said to be the world's largest technology distributor. The expanded relationship is designed to support the customers in the Canadian marketplace that may need PowerDsine's PoE Midspan solutions.

"We strive to support our solution provider customers with a broad array of products and technologies and PowerDsine's Power-over-Ethernet midspans are essential for operating application devices such as VoIP and WLAN. We think that these midspan products will provide an excellent opportunity for incremental sales."

The new distribution arrangement enables PowerDsine to broaden the geographic reach of its PoE Midspan product family while helping Canadian resellers to better deliver PoE solutions to Canadian customers.

Ingram Micro currently offers PowerDsine PoE Midspan solutions to resellers and enterprises customers in the United States and the United Kingdom.
