Online Store Stocks Standards Documentation

The ETL SEMKO division of Intertek has launched the Intertek Standards Store, an online store containing over one million technical documents, industry standards and requirements at www.intertek-standards.com. The online store contains the latest conformity assessment standards such as UL 60950 (IT), IEC 60950 (IT), IEC 60601-1 (medical), UL 60601-1 (medical), UL508 (industrial) and much more. Users can search the entire online store via standard number, standard name, or key text within the standard.

"With so many technical professionals relying on our global website as a testing and certification resource, the online standards store is a logical value added service," said Gregg Tiemann, president of Intertek ETL SEMKO Americas. "Now, visitors can do everything from initiating testing projects, learning about services and testing efficiencies to ordering standards without leaving our site."

Intertek Standards Store is a joint effort between Intertek ETL SEMKO and Information Handling Services (IHS) (www.ihs.com). The site contains content for standards, regulations, parts data, design guides and other technical information gathered from Standards Developing Organizations, manufacturers, government agencies, and other key industry organizations such as AIA/NAS, ANSI, API, ASQ, ASME, ASTM, AWS, BSI, CSA, DIN, EIA, GM, IEC, ICEA, IEEE, IPC, ISA, ISO, NEMA, NFPA, SAE, TIA and UL.
