Microsemi Corporation announced that Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) qualification has been granted for its JANTX / JANTXV2N6901 and JANTX / JANTXV2N7334 hermetic power MOSFETs. Microsemi now has 26 qualified hermetic power MOSFET products, which are primarily used in power conversion, motor control and general purpose power switching applications.
The company's complete line of DLA approvals covers JANTX and JANTXV standards for 100 V, 200 V, 400 V and 500 V, N-channel and P-channel devices with packages available in both leaded and surface mount configurations.
"The qualification of these MOSFETs is a great addition to our existing high-reliability product line," said Kare Karlsen, Executive Vice President of Microsemi's HiRel Group. "We see this as a natural progression as we broaden our existing military MOSFET capabilities to satisfy the demands of the harsh environments to which military and avionics applications are subjected."
Microsemi has worked closely with the DLA to define the test specifications within standard military drawings (MIL-PRF-19500 slashsheets), assuring customers of the performance capabilities of these products.
