The LINEARSTEP from Nippon Pulse offers linear motion in a rotary-size package. LINEARSTEP is available with outside dimensions of 25 mm and 35 mm. The motor’s linear shaft movement allows customers to design a simple system at a fraction of the cost of conventional rotary stepper motors. The same drive circuit that drives the company’s tin-can type steppers can drive the LINEARSTEP.
The LINEARSTEP offers long life and durability due to the ball-bearing support and sturdy motor case. In addition, by employing a special type of thread spec and an enhanced Neodymium magnet rotor, the LINEARSTEP is able to offer high thread efficiency and a large driving force.
