Spotlight on Digital Power
Primarion, a mixed-signal semiconductor company that provides digital control of power and I/O solutions, announced it has achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification from SGS, an accredited registrar for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The internationally recognized ISO 9001:2000 registration highlights Primarion’s dedication to quality management systems, and the company’s systematic approach to quality management to ensure that its customers’ needs are understood and fulfilled.
“We are pleased to receive the ISO 9001:2000 certification, which underscores our continued commitment to offering digital solutions that serve our customers’ needs,” said Ron Van Dell, president and CEO, Primarion. “This level of certification enables us to continue to build upon our strong customer base and broadens the number of companies we can serve.”
ISO 9001:2000 certification is based on eight quality management principles, including customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, system approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision making and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
“Primarion is dedicated to providing our customers with the latest innovation in digital power and I/O solutions at the highest-level of quality,” said Harry Hollack, vice president of operations and quality, Primarion. “Our design process documentation received exceptionally high marks during the certification audit and is a key component of our value.”
