New Facility Extends Global Reach for Electronics Supplier

Knight Electronics Inc., a supplier of test equipment, fans, power cords, OEM components and other electronic products, has opened a new warehouse and distribution center in Poland to better serve its Eastern European customers and further link the company’s global supply chain initiatives. The new facility, located in Gdynia, is a primary stocking center for ac and dc cooling fans, fan accessories, fan trays, power cords, cable assemblies and other electronic products.

As a Technically Enabled Manufacturing Services Company (TEMS), Knight will use the Poland facility to expand its global reach through real-time coordination with its design, warehousing and distribution centers located on three continents. Knight’s corporate headquarters and design facility in Dallas, Texas, also serves as a base for North American and South American operations. In addition, the company maintains an Asian headquarters and value-add facility in Taipei, Taiwan, with a branch operation in Dongguan, China, as well as stocking locations in Dublin, Ireland, and Coventry, England, focused on support for Western Europe.
