The FMG2G50US120 and FMG2G75US120 from Fairchild Semiconductor are 1200-V, 50-A and 75-A rated IGBT modules. With optimized on-state loss (VCE(sat)) versus turn-off switching loss (Eoff), they provide low overall power loss in welding machines, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and general inverters in the 10-kHz to 30-kHz operating frequency range.
