Spotlight on Digital Power
Newark InOne, a subsidiary of global distributor Premier Farnell plc, has signed franchise agreements with power test equipment manufacturers Dranetz-BMI and Megger, adding to its list of more than 440 vendors.
Dranetz-BMI is a source for 3-phase power monitoring instrumentation for troubleshooting and preventing power quality problems. Megger is best known for its range of insulation testers, instruments used for testing, and maintaining transformers, batteries and underground cables.
"Power quality and power reliability problems cost U.S. businesses more than $150 billion in lost data, material and productivity annually," says Jeff Shafer, senior vice president, product, Newark InOne. "Our engineering customers can depend on Megger and Dranetz-BMI equipment to effectively monitor, evaluate and repair their electrical distribution systems and machinery at their facilities."
Dranetz-BMI's latest family of handheld power monitoring and data acquisition instruments, and Megger's insulation testers, low resistance testers, ground resistance testers and multiconductor clamp meter, are available at Newark InOne.
