Spotlight on Digital Power
Celestica Inc. recently announced the expansion of the company’s IBC Series with a range of industry-leading, high-performance eighth-brick fixed ratio bus converters.
For use in intermediate bus architectures within computing and telecommunications equipment, Celestica is among the first to offer a full selection of 4-to-1, 5-to-1 and 6-to-1 fixed voltage conversion ratios in an eighth-brick package with the new EUS models. With a wide input voltage range of 36 v to 55 V, the EUS models boast leading metrics such as current thermal derating performance and efficiencies of up to 96.1%among the highest in the industry.
Rated up to 240 W, the EUS models are designed in an industry standard eighth-brick form factor, with dimensions of 2.28 in. (L) × 0.90 in. (W) × 0.49 in. (H). Available in both positive and negative enable logic models, these versatile isolated dc-dc converters can also be used in parallel for higher output power.
Celestica’s IBC Series EUS models are available now. Pricing at 1,000 units ranges from $30 to $34, based on output voltage.
