Advanced Analogic Technologies Inc. (AnalogicTech), a developer of power management semiconductors, has signed a distribution agreement with World Peace Group (WPG), a distributor of semiconductor products in Asia. Under the agreement, WPG will offer AnalogicTech’s complete portfolio of power management products, as well as provide local technical support, to customers in Taiwan and China.
WPG’s broad distribution network serves customers throughout Asia, including global and regional original equipment manufacturers such as HP, Cisco and Motorola; contract electronic manufacturers such as Celestica, Flextronics and Solectron; and original design manufacturers in the telecommunications, consumer electronics and industrial electronics industries.
“Taiwan and China are global centers for the design and manufacture of such battery-powered mobile products as handsets and MP3 players, which benefit from the power-saving characteristics of AnalogicTech’s power management products,” said Jan Nilsson, vice president of sales and marketing for AnalogicTech. “With nearly 30 offices throughout the region, WPG complements our existing network of sales representatives and distributors, and increases customer access to our broad product portfolio.”
