Spotlight on Digital Power
Lambda’s DPP Series of low-cost DIN rail-mount power supplies are available with a choice of 5-V, 12-V, 15-V, 24-V and 48-V outputs. The series includes eight models in three package sizes. The DPP15 provides 15 W of output in a 2.95-in. × 0.9-in. × 3.81-in. package; the DPP30-50 models provide up to 50 W in a 2.95-in. × 1.77-in. × 3.58-in. package; and the DPP100 provides up to 100 W in a 2.95-in. × 2.86-in. × 3.81-in. pancake.
Models DPP15-50 can accept a universal input range of 85 Vac to 264 Vac, while the DPP100 automatically selects between 85 Vac to 132 Vac and 176 Vac to 264 Vac. All of the models can accept a dc input voltage. The power supplies feature a low ripple and noise of up to 50 mV and are protected against overload and overvoltage conditions. Pricing for the DPP series starts at $40 in single-unit quantities.
